It administers and opperates a communitarian GPS station (Global Positioning System), that is a positioning system based on 24 satellites, that provide positions in three dimensions, speed and time, the 24 hours of the day, anywhere of the world and in all the climatic conditions. This allows the cooperatives to locate posts, to determine the location of new line and to make rises of its assets.

In 2001, it started to give to the cooperatives the service of preventive diagnosis, using a thermal camera, which allows to detect hot spots in equipment like banks of voltage regulation, recloser, and all related to high tension, electrical and hydroelectric power stations and substations. This allows to detect possible failures and to carry out the necessary repairs.

The companies distributors of energy, need to prove the precision of the measurers installed and those that are acquired, according to requirements defined by the Regulating Authority of Public Services(ARESEP) and the Costa Rican Laboratory of Metrology (LACOMET); reason why, Coneléctricas R.L acquired the necessary equipment to measure the precision of the electrical measurers of its associate cooperatives. This equipment is installed in the office of Coneléctricas R.L in San Jose.

In order to save costs and having a standarization of the procedures and engineering specifications, Coneléctricas R.L. makes the external audit and the purchase of materials for the Cooperatives of Electrification, in joint form. In addition, Coneléctricas R.L offers the support and general coordination in diverse activities, that imply the defense and promotion of the interests of their associate cooperatives.
